By Car: Opua is a 3 hour drive from Auckland. Take State Highway 1 and head north. Opua is situated 12km north of Kawakawa on State Highway 11. You will find the Opua Motel just 100m down the road on the right-hand side at the top of the hill. It can easily be seen from the road.
By Bus: Intercity have good bus services from Auckland which will drop you off at "Opua Hill". Pickup from the bus by arrangement, or it's just a short walk down Franklin St (100m).
By Plane: Fly Air New Zealand to Kerikeri, pick up a shuttle at the airport and you will be here in 30 minutes.
